This marvelous black tea is handmade by Ms. Zhao Yu Jie in the Xishuangbanna region of SW Yunnan Province of China. Ms. Zhao and her husband also make some of our finest puerh and Yunnan black teas.

used to work at scented and this was my favorite tea

i love black teas in general, but nothing in the world compares to the golden needle. sooo smooth, less bitterness because there’s less tanins. the leaves are whole and well oxidized, and the caffeine content is enough to keep you awake but not make your heart race.

Subtle sweetness

Notes of sweet dark chocolate at a not too expensive price for a Golden Monkey. I'm impressed. Way to go!
